Corrosion Resistant Entropy Alloy

Corrosion Resistant Entropy Alloy

EM-600

The EM-600 series is a corrosion-resistant entropy alloy with excellent performance, including two types: EM-600A and EM-600B. EM-600A has a hardness above HV400 and can replace high-strength stainless steel and titanium alloys in aerospace, transportation, and marine components. EM-600B, with a hardness between HV170 and HV400, offers strong corrosion resistance and can replace pitting-prone stainless steels such as 304 and 316L in chemical facilities and structural applications.

Material Features

The corrosion-resistant entropy alloy EM-600 series has excellent corrosion resistance. The EM-600A series has the characteristics of high hardness, which can be greater than HV400, and has both high strength and high corrosion resistance. The EM-600B series has a pitting potential greater than 0.8V, and compared with 304 and 316L stainless steels, it will not be affected by pitting corrosion in seawater.
