Antimicrobial Entropy Alloy

Antimicrobial Entropy Alloy

EM-700

The antibacterial entropy alloy EM-700 series is an antibacterial and mildew-proof alloy with a hardness greater than HV280 and excellent anti-rust properties. Used in antibacterial knives, chopping boards, scissors, faucets and handles, etc., the unique antibacterial patented formula has the advantages of inherent antibacterial properties and permanent antibacterial effect. It is far superior to alloy-type antibacterial stainless steel and surface-coated antibacterial stainless steel, titanium alloy, etc., and meets the antibacterial needs in the post-epidemic era.

Material Features

The EM-700 series antibacterial entropy alloy demonstrates excellent antibacterial and anti-mildew performance. According to JIS Z2801 tests by the Food Research Institute and SGS, it achieves over 99.9% antibacterial efficacy against common pathogens—including E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, K. pneumoniae, drug-resistant S. aureus, Salmonella, Candida albicans, and S. pneumoniae—and up to 99.999% against several strains.
Additionally, ASTM G21 mildew resistance tests confirm strong effectiveness against five common fungi, including A. niger, P. tetrapine, C. globosum, G. virens, and A. bracteata.

Note: In the antibacterial test report, if the antibacterial activity value is greater than 2.0, it means that the sample has an antibacterial effect on the test strain.

The antibacterial entropy alloy EM-700 series can be used in antibacterial knives, cutting boards, faucets and handles, etc.
